Biography
Rhonda founded Rhonda J. Magnussen LLC in 2015, serving individuals and families throughout the Minneapolis–Saint Paul metro area and central Minnesota. With over 35 years of legal experience, Rhonda is known for her dedication, practical guidance, and strong advocacy for her clients. In addition to representing clients in state district courts, she has successfully handled appeals before the Minnesota Court of Appeals.
Rhonda represents clients in a wide range of legal matters, including family law cases involving divorce, custody and parenting time, child support, spousal maintenance, property division, paternity, and grandparents’ rights; as well as probate matters, criminal defense, estate planning, real estate transactions, business law, and other civil matters. Her broad legal background provides valuable perspective to clients addressing complex legal issues and has led many clients to return to her over the years for trusted guidance through different stages of life.
Rhonda works closely with each client to provide clear direction, thoughtful counsel, and a strong voice throughout the legal process.
As a Rule 114 Qualified Neutral, Rhonda also assists parties in resolving disputes through mediation and negotiation whenever possible.
Outside the office, Rhonda enjoys spending time with family and friends, pampering her miniature dachshund, Frankie, attending Pilates and fitness classes, baking, gardening, and traveling.
